   These policies help ensure clarity, fairness, and food safety for all customers. Please read carefully before placing an order.


Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required to confirm all custom orders.
  • Orders are not considered booked until payment is received.
  • Accepted payment methods include: cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.


Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least **48–72 hours** before the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
  • Cancellations made after this timeframe may result in partial or no refund due to preparation and ingredient costs.
  • Same-day cancellations are **non-refundable**.


Allergy Policy

  • California Sweets is a home-based bakery that handles common allergens including **nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, and soy**
  • Customers are responsible for informing us of any allergies before placing an order.
  • California Sweets is not liable for allergic reactions.


Refund Policy

  • Due to the custom and perishable nature of baked goods, **refunds are not guaranteed**.
  • Refunds or credits may be considered only in cases of:
  • Incorrect orders
  • Quality issues reported within **24 hours** of pickup or delivery
  • No refunds will be issued for change of mind or no-shows.


Pickup & Delivery Policy

  • Pickup times must be scheduled in advance and honored.
  • Late pickups may affect product freshness and quality.
  • Delivery is available within Stockton and Sacramento for an additional fee.
  • California Sweets is not responsible for damage once the order has been picked up or delivered.
  • Customers must ensure someone is available to receive deliveries at the agreed time.
